My Sister’s Closet (MSC) is a not-for-profit organization designed to provide no cost professional attire to individuals entering or re-entering the work force. We are a referral based organization from various companies like Temp Agencies, The Job Council, College, Universities and potential or current employers.
My Sister’s Closet was started in the mid 90′s by Bobbi Naumes, a long-time community advocate, who had an idea for a clothing cooperative that would provide appropriate attire for women (and now men) entering or re-entering the work force.
In 2006 Bobbi passed away from cancer. After being dormant for almost a decade, Cynthia revived what was once a passion for her mother and positioned MSC as a not-for-profit organization benefiting individuals in need of good, gently worn outfits for interviews and their future careers.
By appointment, two outfits are given with the assistance of a Personal Shopper to appropriately dress for the type of occupation desired for interviewing or who are recently employed .
My Sister’s Closet is committed to helping residents of Jackson County become prosperous…two outfits at a time.

My Sister’s Closet (MSC) is a not-for-profit organization designed to provide no cost professional and semi-professional attire to individuals entering or re-entering the work force or already on the job and need assistance. How You Can Help
Become A Volunteer
My Sister’s Closet is always in need of additional enthusiastic volunteers to lighten the load, from transportation of donated goods to sorting clothing or serving as a discreet “Personal Shopper” to one of the many clients who utilize our services. Call or email today to see how you can be part of this program.
Donate Gently Used Career Wear
With 20-30 applicants served each month, My Sister’s Closet is in constant need of donated clothing, shoes and accessories. Perhaps you have perfectly lovely outfits you’re just no longer interested in wearing, or maybe you have items in the back of the closet-some still with tags-that you bought years ago and never wore.
Cynthia personally assists the bereaved by providing professional, caring and compassionate removal of clothes, making it less painful and more comforting to know items will be going to good use. (Referrals upon request)
Donate Financially
Although we may have space generously donated by Twin Creeks Adult Retirement Community we make every effort (and then some) to keep our overhead costs at an absolute minimum. MSC still has expenses to cover for our day-to- day operations. Please consider including us in your yearly donations.
