A sense of kinship and unity was instilled early in Cynthia’s upbringing. Cynthia’s mother, Bobbi Naumes, was the longtime director of Civic Outreach, a program that brought together new business owners and executives for networking and information exchange. Long an advocate for women, Bobbi founded “My Sister’s Closet,” a clothing cooperative that provided professional attire to women entering the workforce, and volunteered at the Dunn House. Happiest with a houseful of children and visitors, Bobbi hosted exchange students and baseball players from the local Minor League team. Natural ambassadors for Medford , both Bobbi and Pete (Cynthia’s father) were unfailingly enthusiastic about Southern Oregon ’s potential, and each contributed innumerable hours to its success through their business activities and professional affiliations. Pete served on many boards and committees including the Medford Urban Renewal Agency board, Table Rock Irrigation Development District, and St. Mary’s School Board.
Raised in this passionate and dedicated family, Cynthia continues to build on a strong legacy of community involvement through her own volunteerism. Youth advocacy is her passion and her many volunteer activities include Community Works, Southern Oregon Easter Seals, Rogue Valley Search and Rescue, Rogue Opera’s educational enrichment program and La Douce’ Vie Day Spa’s Exteme Makeover Contest. Through Kiwanis, Cynthia is a major sponsor of the Children’s Advocacy Center “mobile dental unit,” which brings much-needed dental care to children throughout the region. A longtime sports enthusiast, Cynthia has coached youth sports and sponsors The Rogue Valley Wranglers Hockey Club and Wranglerettes amongst other local youth sport organizations.

Cynthia Naumes “Tour Route” of Southern Oregon
As a special service to her clients, Cynthia’s signature route provides the best introduction to the region. “It’s more than just showing homes,” notes Cynthia, “it’s about showing Southern Oregon.” Beginning in Medford, Cynthia takes clients through lush agricultural areas where mile-upon-mile of pear and apple orchards stretch into forested foothills. From there, it’s on to charming historic sites, such as Jacksonville (a National Historic Landmark city); acres of vineyards and dozens of delightful tasting rooms; world-class art and theater; a huge variety of retail options; wild and scenic rivers; lakes and forests; and more.
